We have a number of diagnostic tools that can assist you in developing individuals or groups within your organisation. The Johari Window is a tried and tested method of helping individuals understand more about themselves and their environment whilst Functional Fluency and TIFF can help both individuals and groups. Our Innovation Audit is for groups only and can be applied to departments, functional grouping or whole organisations who consider Innovation as an important strategy. For further details see below, for enquiries please Contact Us.
The Johari Window - Personal Relations Survey
The Personal Relations Survey is based on the Johari window and identifies:- How much of yourself, your ideas and thoughts, you keep from others
- How much of yourself you do not fully understand, and is therefore hidden from you
- What you keep hidden from others – what is it you keep hidden?
- What benefits might there be in sharing with others, how might it help you to become more effective.
- What is hidden from you? How might this manifest itself?
- What are the benefits of understanding yourself further? What actions might you take?
The Personal Relations Survey naturally compliments a Leadership and Management or Action Learning programme. Alternatively it would be useful in a coaching session. We recommend that you purchase the Teleometrics Personal Relations Survey directly from Chartwell Learning and Development.

Innovation Audit
Our Innovation Audit is described in further detail in the data sheet available from our downloads page. Please note that although this tool is used for measuring Innovation, it can also be used for measuring the effects of cultural change programmes. It is the only tool that we know of which measures Innovation directly, rather than relying on indirect Key Performance Indicators. The Overall Innovation Climate is assessed using a set of multiple choice questions. It should be noted that there is no absolute measure of Innovation and any scores measured over a period of time are relative to your particular organisation. This survey is designed to produce a graphical output together with accompanying notes that allow trends or areas of concern to be easily identified. Any such areas should be investigated further. The areas under examination are described outlined below. Some of the conditions for innovation may seem 'idealistic' and it is extremely unlikely that the perfect organisation exists. All of the key areas are important and it is useful to identify how effective organisations are and whether any aspects of the organisation are being neglected.
The following nine areas are examined:
- Team work
- Hands on/off management
- Desire to win
- Knowing how to win
- Scanning the external environment
- Managing external relationships
- Creating the right culture
- Stretching employees
The areas we examine are:
- Strategic Barriers
- Organisational Culture
- Corporate Culture
- Learning
- Process and Structure
- Leadership and Management
The areas we examine are:
- Knowledge Communities
- Knowledge Base
- Infrastructure
- Knowledge Processes
Administering the surveys can be done in several ways:
- Online
- Using Microsoft Word templates on a computer using a printed questionnaire
- By interviewing employees
- By carrying out workshops
The Audit Report is a comprehensive document that contains a summary of the key data, analysis of trends observed and recommendations where appropriate. It highlights areas or strength, targets for 'quick wins' and areas requiring further development. A sample report is available on request.
Price: Includes administration of surveys, data entry, analysis, bound copies of report and presentation to your board or senior management. Actual price depends on number of employees surveyed but prices start at £2500 (+VAT).
