Creativity and Innovation Workshops

Subject expert: Derek Cheshire. Derek specialises in the use of business creativity and innovation. He undertakes consultancy and speaking engagements worldwide and has developed novel but powerful tools for assessing the creativity and innovation within a business. He has recently created a network of Innovation solutions providers in Mexico. Derek’s workshops are carefully designed and targeted at business objectives. They are serious interventions aimed at finding ways to enhance your business that competitors will find difficult to copy.

Magic Beans

Short bites of innovation and creativity training to stimulate, energise and bring fresh thinking to your business. This creativity workshop is ideal for sales meetings, company annual conferences or simply as part of your company's occasional lunchtime menu. It can be run for any size of audience.

Beanstalk

Giving your key people the know-how to cultivate ideas and create new opportunities. Key content of the programme includes:- This creativity workshop is suitable for individuals acting as catalysts, whose role includes encouraging and harvesting ideas to take the business forward. The workshop is suitable for an audience of up to 10 people.

Giant Action

Stretching individuals and tackling limiting beliefs. Challenging and supporting them with peer coaching to do things differently and make innovative contributions to your business. 10 all day sessions for 6 people. A creativity skills starter (2 hours) followed by a facilitated Action Learning Set (5 hours)

Leadership and Management Workshops

Subject expert: Marc Braddock. Marc’s diverse business experience includes distributor management, working across different cultures, project management, product brand management, creating special interest groups and running small businesses.

More recently Marc’s interests have included Organisational Transactional Analysis, facilitation of accredited coaching and mentoring training, qualification as an accredited TIFF psychometric analysis provider and becoming an Action Learning Set facilitator.

Lock and Quay

Asks the question of what is leadership versus management. Provides stimulating perspectives on different levels of leadership maturity and management responsibility in a journey from ‘Opportunist’ to ‘Alchemist’.

Workshops can be tailored for most audiences. The aim is always to encourage individuals to take a step further in awareness of their leadership and management thinking and behaviour than they might ordinarily have done.

For up to 15 people.

Holding The Helm

Provides practical tools, models and tips to support the individual’s journey as a leader and manager such as: Ideal for individuals that are experiencing the stresses and strains of leadership and management and are looking to develop more understanding of what’s really going on and want alternative strategies to test out. For up to 10 people.

Wise Fools

Individuals will develop greater insight and extend their skills as leaders and managers. They will experiment with role responsibilities over the year and share experiences. 10 all day sessions for 5-7 people. Each day comprises a 2 hour workshop followed by a facilitated Action Learning Set (5 hours).

Strategy and Planning Workshops

Subject expert: Roger Croft. Roger is passionate about enabling companies to match their resources and values to market opportunities. He does this through providing specialist processes, tools, and coaching allowing companies to pull together their strengths and make the most of their opportunities.

Roger has helped to create literally hundreds of business plans. His experiences show that the successful ones empower individuals to take action and learn. Courses are designed for delegates to participate, make mistakes in a safe environment, boost confidence, question, learn, and so produce robust thinking and planning.

Sticky Strategy

Do you want to know how to have a greater chance of creating a business strategy that will stick? This workshop: Ideal for the senior management of established businesses which is seeking a process that suits them. This strategy workshop is suitable for up to 15 people.

Business Vista

Time you had a business plan? Want the know-how and the support for individuals to help position and plan for business success? This strategy workshop is ideal for the business that wants a map to work from, that requires debt or investment funding or that wants to be able to share formal statements of business direction with key stakeholders. For up to 10 people.

Acti Vista

Stretching, challenging and supporting individuals with peer coaching to take action on key issues around implementing and updating strategic or business plans. 10 sessions for 5-7 people, each comprising a 2 hour workshop followed by a facilitated Action Learning Set (5 hours).

Coaching and Mentoring Workshops

Subject expert: Christine Hardisty. Christine’s area of interest is working with technical specialists to develop their skills for business and working relationships. She is passionate about the use of coach/mentor approaches as a means of supporting people to make positive responses to change and to achieve rapid personal development. Both her coaching and her facilitation work are underpinned by a philosophy of empowering people to take responsibility for their own development and actions.

Christine designs courses that allow participants to be clear on their learning objectives, to negotiate the level of challenge that is right for them, and most importantly - to participate and have fun.

New Perspectives

Coaching is widely used to develop staff, increase performance, and identify creative solutions. This powerful workshop enables participants to experience the value of the “thinking” that is generated through coaching. You will cover: Workshops can be tailored for most audiences. Our aim is to offer an opportunity for individuals to experience a new technique or idea. For up to 15 people.

The C&M Toolkit

Are key people in your organisation ready to learn the skills needed to grow others in your business? We will introduce your staff to skills and tools so that they can support the development of your workforce. We will introduce approaches that are valuable in many management contexts, including: Ideal for supervisors and managers who want to extend their management style with powerful, sustainable techniques. For up to 10 people.

Skills Into Action

An opportunity to put knowledge into action with the support and challenge of peer coaching sustained over a full season. For those who want to commit to and learn from coaching & mentoring initiatives. 10 all day sessions for 5-7 people. Each day comprises a workshop on concepts and theories followed by peer coaching practice and feedback.
